“BATTLE AT BUCKEYE RIDGE”

A brief storm has just passed and the local Buckeye fans are just gathering to watch their friends and neighbors in their annual battle at the ridge. This is a great print for those of us who wish that we could have played in the “Shoe”, but understand that we can still fantasize in our own backyard battles.

“BUCKEYE BLESSING”

“TWO SPECIAL PAINTINGS”

These are two paintings that I created celebrating part of Ohio State history. I never produced any prints of the “Quiet Reflections” artwork since I would have needed to get a license from the NCAA for using the championship trophy image.

The “Mirror Lake Jump” artwork was not approved at the time by OSU so no prints were produced.

Painted after the 2002 National Championship, I tried to capture a relaxed moment to reflect on a truly great year and I believe that a setting by Mirror lake delivered that message

18 3/4” x 24" original painting

“QUIET REFLECTIONS”

“MIRROR LAKE JUMP”

An annual event that happened on a weeknight before the big game was a truly special time. I was there in 2010 and wanted to capture this moment in a painting, with this being the result.

221/2” x 30" original painting

These are holiday cards that I was asked to illustrate for the Ohio State University Football staff.

“2004 OSU HOLIDAY CARD

“2007 OSU HOLIDAY CARD

“2010 OSU HOLIDAY CARD”

“2005 OSU HOLIDAY CARD

“2008 OSU HOLIDAY CARD”

“2011 OSU HOLIDAY CARD”

2006 OSU HOLIDAY CARD

“2009 OSU HOLIDAY CARD

I really enjoyed the times that I spent creating these cards for The Ohio State University football coaching staff.

At the request of some of the staff, the OSU 2008 card was printed as a 12” x 16” stretched canvas minus the graphics and they allowed me to make additional canvases for the general public from the original painting.
